JETS Address O-line & Wide Receiver positions

2014-05-20 03.27.07Questions remain for offensive line-up Currently center Nick Mangold and D’Brickashaw Ferguson are simply not who they once were and I don’t see another pro-bowl year in 2014. The addition of veteran Breno at right tackle was solid.

The only gripe from Seattle Seahawks on him was the penalties he acquires with his aggressive Style of play.. unless they’re set backs ( in respect to field position ) it will be okay for him to “let his opponents know he’s their”.
Update: Oct., 2014 penalties not the concern they were in Seattle for Breno.

Who will cover at right guard Rookie “bull”Dozier or will Winters hold on to the starter role? Is Willie Colon healthy enough to play?
Update: Oct.,2014 Winters to IR. ABOUSHI getting 2nd start in NFL.

Shaq Evans pictured here, Kerley, David Nelson, Jacoby Ford, Rookie Jalen & Enunwa fill out the expected receivers.
Update: Oct. 2014. Nelson cut for Harvin – Kerley re-signed to 4yr ext. Ford & Jalen Saunders out.

2014-05-20 04.26.28The JETS are actually better suited this year at the wide receiver position this year than last. Offensive line… not so much.

The JETS need to start considering the O-line in next year’s draft. Which means scouting starts now at the college level.

In addition, all those one and two-year contracts General manager John Idzik is so fond of will also be a concern again for the 2015 season.
