N.Y. Jets Waive WR – Stephen Hill | Three year project over

The three. Year Stephen Hill project comes to an end as the New York Jets waive the wide receiver Saturday.

The Jets plan to waive the second-round receiver Saturday, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported.

Bill wide receiver has been trade talk this summer – with no offers.

The team may still try to trade the unproductive 6-foot-4 receiver before the 4 p.m. deadline, per Rapoport.

A second-round pick in 2012, HILL was expected to be a top. NFL wide out.

But he has been drop-prone and injury prone ending 2013 on injured reserve with a knee injury.

Hill showed zero signs of improvement this preseason and Fans as well as coaches noticed.

The total: 23 games and 45 catches. Not enough to remain with team.

Fans have been particularly boisterous this year during training camp and he’ll has fired back, but not worth better play.
