Do the New York Jets have a locker room problem?
All players are not All-In says one veteran and former Steeler Right Guard, Willie Colon.
He’s not alone. Other players have spoke of a lack of determination by some teammates.
These are not rumors, these are the players words.
If your not All-in, in this league then you had better get out, before you get yourself or your teammate hurt. That’s unforgivable.
“I can understand why we lose and why we have the issues we have,” Colon said, “But I think it’s important for me to keep it in house.”
“I think we still need some more dogs in the locker room, so to speak,” he said, adding that the Jets need more players who “care for football” and “only football.”
He added: “I do believe we have guys like that. We just need more guys like that.” -L.I.,Newsday
Then you have players like Jason Babin who gets straight to the point.
Your time in this game doesn’t last forever. Your going to have to grow up and get a real job.

“Obviously, we’re not getting the results we want but that doesn’t mean we’re not going to stay the course.”
“I’m not one into playing what-if games. It’s not my style,” Babin said of looking back to the beginning of the season. “I think for us, it’s really an opportunity to test yourself as a man. Things are difficult. Life’s difficult. This experience and time we have in the NFL is short-lived. So I think it’s a good opportunity to take that situation and to grow as men.”
“This isn’t what we’re going to do forever. We’re all going to have to have jobs eventually. How you answer each and every day from here on out, I think, is going to speak volumes for your character.”
We hope more players feel as he does.
This from New York Jets.com:
With an NFL-record 12 TD passes over his last two games, Ben Roethlisberger is leading a hot Steelers offense that’s “carving people up.” Added Rex: “To say we have our work cut out for us I think is an understatement.”
After fan disgruntlement came to a head at practice on Wednesday, a frustrated Rex voiced displeasure at criticism being directed at one individual. “We’re working our butts off, John, everybody, is working their butts off to find a way to win,” Rex said.
Jets at home vs. Steelers
This is a winnable game for the Jets if their defensive line plays an entire game as the Steelers are missing pieces too this week.
Keeping big Ben’s decision time down via pressure has proven to be key against them.
Let’s not forget that prior to winning their last two, they too had problems.
Now the Steelers secondary is in a similar situation as the Jets’. With Star cornerbacks Ike Taylor and safety Troy Polamalu both missing the game after injuries.
QB play with Mike Vick, the running game and utilizing your tight ends this week as well as Percy Harvin, Jeremy Kerley and Eric Decker will be keys to winning this game offensively .
