Mark Brunell’s NFL career took him to the Pro Bowl three times, and a Super Bowl.
But according to public records he was forced to file for bankruptcy in 2011.
During his 18 year NFL career, he played for five NFL teams: the Packers, the Jaguars, the Redskins, the Saints, he finished his pro career with the New York Jets.
Like many others he began investing in different projects. Out of the nine the he began with, five of them failed. Even though his investments were in real estate, they proved untimely as property prices crashed and he lost over $18 million; different investments included $9 million on a Whataburger franchise, and $11 million on a condo project.
Thankfully, according to reports, one of his remaining businesses is a youth football summer camp, which appears to be doing well.
